Our club is proud to call Buckley Park, Cooper Street, Essendon, our home. With two turf wickets, two synthetic wickets, and newly renovated synthetic training nets, all located within Buckley Park, we offer some of the best facilities in the area for players of all ages to train, compete, and enjoy the great game of cricket.
Coaching for Every Age
At Doutta Stars Cricket Club we coach for the long term. From first swings in juniors to competitive senior cricket, our programmes build skills, confidence and character. Players learn to compete hard, respect the game and enjoy being part of a proper club.
Seniors
Club Coach: Jeremy Peacock
Our senior programme sits at the heart of the club. Across Senior Men’s and Under 18 teams affiliated with the VTCA, we give cricketers of every background the platform to play, improve and contribute.
Training is purposeful, standards are high and selection is fair. Whether you are pushing for higher honours, returning to the game or stepping up from juniors, you will find strong coaching, good habits and teammates who back one another.

Juniors
Junior Coaches: Jamie Tate and Shannon Wigmore
We run a vibrant junior pathway affiliated with the NWMCA, with teams in Under 10, Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16. These age-group matches are played on Friday evenings. We also field an Under 18 side affiliated with the VTCA, with games on Sundays.
Boys and girls aged 7 to 17 are welcome. Sessions are upbeat, well-structured and fun, with plenty of ball-in-hand time. Players learn good technique, decision-making and respect for teammates and opponents. Training and home games are based at Buckley Park.
